the backstory

when I was expecting my firstborn, I failed to find an affordable, weighty enough, 100% cotton knit blanket that could be used in every season; so I endeavoured to create one. hence, mika, tia & finn were born. I used them for an entire year before I started selling them as I wanted to make absolutely certain that I was selling a quality blanket that could be used all year round and that would stand the test of time.
now, almost four years later I officially launch my online store and I am still using those same blankets for both my firstborn who is now a toddler and my second born. now I know for certain that this blanket is an heirloom that can be used for many wonderful years and one that gets softer with each and every wash.
